Masters of Curling Broadcast Schedule
CBC Sports to air live semi-final and
final coverage from the men’s third Capital One Grand Slam of Curling event
SASKATOON, January 22, 2008 – On Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27, CBC Sports will air live coverage of the Masters of Curling, the third leg of the men’s 2007-08 Capital One Grand Slam of Curling series.
As the official television broadcaster of the Capital One Grand Slam of Curling, CBC Sports will air the event’s semi-finals live on CBC Television on Saturday, January 26 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET.
The finals of the Masters of Curling will be shown live on CBC Television on Sunday, January 27 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET.
Starting Wednesday January 23, cbcsports.ca will also provide live broadband coverage of all draws, exclusively at www.cbcsports.ca/curling.
As part of its exclusive agreement, CBC Sports will air coverage of the semi-finals and finals of the first three 2007-08 Capital One Grand Slam of Curling men’s events. CBC Sports will also broadcast the men’s and women’s finals of the 2008 TYLENOL® Players’ Championship, the eighth and final Capital One Grand Slam of Curling event.

Saskatchewan’s Shaw TV will also air live coverage of the event’s second draw featuring Saskatchewan’s Pat Simmons and Norway’s Thomas Ulsrud on Wednesday, January 23 at 8:30 p.m. CT. The broadcast will be available in all provincial markets including Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw and Swift Current.
The Masters of Curling will take place at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon from January 23-27.
Held annually since 2001-02, the Capital One Grand Slam of Curling is a series of eight high-profile men’s and women’s events that feature Canada’s deepest and strongest curling fields.
Through their performance in the Capital One Grand Slam events, rinks can earn a significant amount of points towards securing a berth at the 2009 Canadian Trials.
