LOS ANGELES –
February 25, 2009 – Top curlers will take to the ice in a pressure-packed
competition in Broomfield, Colo., as they seek a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team.
Universal Sports presents 12 hours of live broadcast and webcast coverage of
the 2010 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Curling this Friday and Saturday.
Coverage begins
with the women’s semifinal on Friday at 6 p.m. ET followed by the men’s
semifinal at 10 p.m. ET. Coverage
continues on Saturday at 12 noon ET with the women’s final followed by the
men’s final at 5 p.m. ET.
The winning men’s
and women’s teams will be nominated to represent the United States at the 2010
Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

broadcast team of Andrew Catalon (play by play) and
former Canadian curling champion and 2002 and 2006 NBC Olympics curling
commentator Don Duguid (analyst) will call the action from the Broomfield
Events Center.
