2008 WORLD MEN’S CURLING TICKET “MINI-PACKAGES” ON-SALE NOW

GRAND FORKS, ND – The 2008 World Men’s Curlng Championship will be held at Ralph Engelstad Arena April 5-13, 2008. Twelve of the top curling teams in the world will compete for the chance to be crowned world champion. Of the twelve teams competing in the world championship, the United States and Canada are the only two teams guaranteed a place in the field for the 2008 event. The rest of the field will consist of eight European countries and two Pacific Rim representatives.

“MINI-PACK” TICKET INFORMATION ANNOUNCED

Mini-Packs are now on-sale for the 2008 World Men’s Curling Championship. “Opening Weekend,” “Hump Day,” and “Championship Weekend” packages are now available.

Opening Weekend Package includes the Opening Ceremonies on Friday night plus all five Saturday and Sunday draws. Package prices $50-$75.

Hump Day Package includes all twelve round robin draws Monday through Thursday and tiebreakers Thursday night (if necessary). Package prices: $100-170.

Championship Weekend Package includes all tiebreakers on Friday (if necessary), the Page Playoff games, semi-final, bronze medal, and world championship game. The closing ceremony is also included. Package prices: $60-$90.

Full Event Packages are also still available and include all draws and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Package prices: $175-$275.
