Mark Noseworthy defeated Garry Perry 7-0 in the final on Sunday. For those of you who haven't heard, Tom Warren dropped dead last night on the ice at the Bally Haly Cash Spiel. He was due to speak Monday at the Governor General's Curling Club gathering; his induction having been a pinnacle of a great career in the game. All SJCC Members would have thought his health to be excellent, and his competitive game was still very much feared by all (young and old) who met him on the ice; his friendship valued by all who knew him.
Tom was born in Corner Brook June 4, 1941,, Skipped in the 1958 National "School Boy", Played second in 1968 Brier, Played second in the '68 and '77 Mixed, and Played second in the 1994 Seniors.
